  • What is a domestic cleaning service / office cleaning service?

    A thorough and professional clean of your home or office, at your convenience. We always make sure we work at a time to suit you, and we are available on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or one-off basis.

  • Can I meet my Cleaner first?

    Yes, we always recommend that you meet your Cleaner before she starts, to ensure that you are happy with her coming to clean your home. This also gives you an opportunity to discuss your priorities with her.


    We will arrange a meeting with the Cleaner at your home or office at a time to suit you. This can be in the daytime, evening or weekend.

  • Are there a minimum number of hours per regular cleaning visit?

    Yes, we require 2 or 3 hours minimum per cleaning visit, depending on location.


     Although we do normally recommend 3 hours as this is the average for most houses.

  • Will I have the same Cleaner every week?

    We will provide you with the same Cleaner on each visit, on the same day each week/fortnight. We will only replace your regular Cleaner with another if your Cleaner is on holiday, off sick, unsuitable or if they have terminated their employment.


    (Please note that we will never send a different Cleaner to you without contacting you in advance. If a stranger comes to your home and you have had no contact from us, then that person is not from our Company.)

  • Can you provide references from some of your customers?

    Yes, references from our current customers can be provided on request. Please also see our Testimonials Page.

  • Does Domestic Cleaning 4 U cover my area?

    Domestic Cleaning 4 U covers East London and Essex within the M25. We are currently operating in the following areas:


    Barking, Barkingside, Becontree, Bethnal Green, Bow, Bromley-by-Bow, Buckhurst Hill, Cambridge Heath, Chadwell Heath, Chafford Hundred, Chigwell, Chingford, Cranham, Dagenham East, Dagenham Heathway, Dalston Kingsland, Debden, Docklands, East Ham, Elm Park, Emerson Park, Epping, Fairlop, Forest Gate, Gants Hill, Gidea Park, Goodmayes, Grange Hill, Hackney, Hainault, Harold Hill, Harold Wood, Highams Park, Homerton, Hornchurch, Leyton, Leytonstone, London Fields, Loughton, Manor Park, Maryland, Mile End, Newbury Park, Plaistow, Rainham, Redbridge, Roding Valley, Romford, Seven Kings, Snaresbrook, South Woodford, Stepney Green, Stratford, Theydon Bois, Upminster, Upminster Bridge, Upney, Upton Park, Walthamstow, Wanstead, Wanstead Park, West Ham, Whitechapel, Wood Grange Park, Woodford, Woodford Green and the surrounding areas and are we expanding our areas all the time.

  • Who is responsible for providing cleaning products and materials?

    You are responsible for supplying cleaning materials and equipment, in addition to making arrangements for access to your home.


    We can supply cleaning materials if you prefer, however this would incur an additional charge.

  • Do your Cleaners do ironing?

    If you require ironing to be done, your Cleaner will always be happy to oblige.


    If you only require ironing to be done, we can arrange that too.

  • Do I have to stay at home when the Cleaner comes round?

    No, our Cleaners are all stringently vetted, trained and experienced so that you can leave them in your home to clean alone. You can leave a set of keys with your Cleaner; 90% of our Cleaners hold keys for their Clients.


    They will not perform any deep or specialised cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items unless instructed.

  • Will you be able to provide me with a temporary Cleaner if my regular Cleaner is off sick or on holiday?

    Yes, we will always contact you to arrange temporary cover should your regular Cleaner be unable to come to you.

  • What do I do if my cleaner doesn't turn up?

    If this should happen, please call us and we will arrange for a replacement cleaner.

  • Are you insured?

    Domestic Cleaning 4 U has public liability insurance which covers all of our Cleaners.

  • What about damages?

    While we will of course treat your home with the greatest of care, accidents can and do occasionally happen. All of our Cleaners are fully insured for such occurrences, should any damage or breakage occur whilst they are cleaning your home, we will undertake to repair or replace the item. If of course the item has broken due to wear and tear, then this is not something we would expect to pay for.

  • How much notice do I need to give if I wish to cancel my cleaner?

    We require 30 days notice to cancel your contract.

  • Specialist Cleaning

    If you have items such as solid wood, granite, marble, antiques, or sea grass carpet etc that need or require specialist cleaning products or you would like certain products used for your cleaning then it is your responsibility to inform the cleaner and us accordingly. We we ensure that any specialist cleaning or use of products is carried out as per your instruction.
